So... (Because I have no life and would rather not work on my really long report for English Class on Body Modification) I was sifting through (my current obsession) Younha's Blog on her Japanese site...
Apparently she likes food. I swear at least 75% of her photos on her blog have something to do with food. Not so much on the korean one, but... it's harder to reach that anyways. I mean, really... The girl likes to eat. Good thing to show, I guess, cuz that means she's not anorexic... always happily munching away on some Japanese dish or another... there's even a before-after pic of how large one portion was and how she completely finished it XDDD
And she can definitely write in Japanese (Not that I can read it). I mean, I've seen Seiyuu blogs, with the whole mini sentences and fufufu-ing and stuff... and comparably, Younha writes paragraphs of information each time. It's stupendous... makes me happy that I'm currently fangirling over an intelligent singer... definitely not just a pretty face and voice here :P
Did I mention she can sing in 4 languages? Japanese, Korean, English and allegedly Mandarin too :P That's epic.
I first found out about Younha when she sang Houkiboshi... I think that may have been her first big hit... since then (I think it's been 3-4 years) she has had her Japanese album reach #12 on the Oricon charts, and both of her Korean albums have reached #1... this is definitely rivalling YUI, but I think Younha wins, cuz she has a larger vocal range, her English and other language skills are better, she did all this despite parental resistance, and many refusals from Korean recording companies for not being 'pretty enough'... I think she's plenty fine :D
Reminds me of how Bi was also turned down... for his face :S Despite being able to dance/sing really well XDDDD
Anyways, back to the crazy workload that is School :(

RIP Debra Styles
Yesterday, at 9:30 pm, a good family friend finally succumbed to her fight with cancer. She'd been struggling against it for much too long, but now she is with the Lord. She leaves behind 2 young children and a grieving family, but I'm sure she is happy now.
It was almost unbearable today in church... she and her family usually sit together in the front right rows of the church. They were empty today. We were heart broken, and all throughout the sermon, you could hear people crying, sniffling. I hope Debra knows she has touched many of our lives...
Thank you very much for teaching me to love everyone unconditionally. Thank you for all the undeserved hugs you gave me, and thank you for teaching me to hug others even if they have not done anything. Thank you for your happiness and infectious energy. Know that you have changed my life for the better, and that I can't wait to meet you in Heaven. Please say hello to my grandmother for me. Thank you for always being there during your days of health, in choir. You were always the happiest and most energetic choir member. In every way, you will be missed...
Thank you for the great memories and wonderful lessons. Ever since I heard the news, I have randomly had times when I just felt like tearing up and crying my eyes out. Forgive my selfish tears; I just wanted one more hug.
I'm sorry I couldn't say goodbye. I was sick, and I thought that would have made you worse... I now regret my decision. I'm happy to know that my mom said goodbye for me. I'm happy to know that my mom was of help to you in your final days... I'm sorry I couldn't have been there for you too.
Did you see us today from your new home as we cried in church? Or are you too busy meeting new people? Are you singing for Jesus like you sang for Him all those years in choir? Are you singing even stronger now that there's no cancer, and now that your energy has returned in full? I hope so. Life here isn't quite the same anymore...
RIP Debra Styles. You will be sorely missed.

WINDOWS LIVE SCHOLARSHIP!!!!
WHAT??? WHAT???? WHAT??????? I WON WHAT????
Ok, backing up for you :D
I entered the Window's Live Scholarship... Microsoft Future Student 2020 Competition <-- that one. I got the entry in 1 day before, and I think I clocked about less than 12 hours working on this thing...
I got an email today from Microsoft... I WON $5000!!!! MY ENTRY ON AUGMENTED REALITY WON~!!!!
What's Augmented Reality? Go watch Dennou Coil. That's all I'm going to say.
So, I'm one of 5 that won them in all of North America...
only reason I even knew about it is because I accidentally clicked on the Window's Live Update message when I got it in September, instead of clicking delete. Then I saw the link, and I was intrigued by Scholarship Money...
I feel lucky. Apparently Nessa says I should :D Something about Good Karma. I say 'Hand of God'. This is the coolest thing EVER!!!!!
Now to send some stuff off to people and then the cheque is sooooo in the mail :D
