OMG LOL + snow... lots of it

Hey! Long time no update, methinks. I do think of this blog often, but... nothing interesting and un-personal I could add, not to mention way to busy. But now that it's Christmas Vacay, I can officially update with my hilarious story from last Tuesday.


So I was getting ready for the home journey after tutoring my grade 10 tutor-kid :D she's great. But anyways, so I'm walking to my locker, and by the front doors near my locker, there's these big ballin' gangsta black guys talking in their crazy deep voices. As usual, I just walk past people I don't know, and go to my locker within earshot of them. While getting my sstuff, I overhear a snippit of their conversation. Namely "...Gwen Stacy is supposed to be a nerd." I immediately look up and shout "ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT SPIDERMAN??!!" They're all shocked, and are like... "yeah..." I'm like "They ruined her in the movie though... Gwen's supposed to be Spidey's first girlfriend..." They're all "That's just what we were talking about!"

So I ended up talking about spiderman the comics and how different they are from the movies with a group of ballin' gangsta boys... That are probably twice my height. OMG. That made my week XD

On another note, it's snowing like mad outside. They say 20-40 cm. I doubt it... I think it'll be more. Looks like it already is, and it isn't even over yet. I got a drive home from school today... quite the amusing thing, to see that much snow while my brother's friend drives me :P

Oh! And I sang in the Christmas Assembly today! It was nerve wracking. I have to get better at singing in front of people. I'm sure one day I'll be better at it :P

On another note again, I won the National Book Award from U of T. That means I get a book... how exciting (It's the 'close but no cigar' award... the finalists for the other award get lots of money DX) and I also got $20 gift card to Wendy's, which is always amusing :D
